After breakfast in the early morning, you’ll drive to one of the world’s most impressive sights-China’s Great Wall. En-route you’ll stop by the jade factory and learn how to turn this ornamental stone into traditional artefacts. After your arrival at Badaling, one of the wall’s best-preserved parts – climb to the top of the ancient watchtowers and enjoy spectacular views of this 6000-kilometre long historic site.
Discover, Tiananmen Square – the largest public square in the world and one of China’s most recognisable sites. Through Mao Zedong’s 1949 declaration of the People’s Republic of China to the violent demonstrations of 1989, read about the powerful and rich historical past of the square. Move north into the Prohibited Zone. Also known as the Imperial Palace, this enormous complex has been the seat of Chinese political power for nearly 500 years and, with more than 8,000 rooms, it is not only the world’s largest temple complex but also boasts some of the largest and best-preserved arrays of ancient wooden structures.
Escape the city in the afternoon, and seek shelter in the Summer Palace, a masterpiece of Chinese landscape architecture. Consisting of many lakes, parks, and palaces.
Today you take a visit to Beijing Zoo, admire the giant pandas, follow in the footsteps of emperors at the Summer Palace, capture photos at the Niaochao National Stadium, tour a hutong, and visit a silk factory. En-route the way, enjoy a dragon-boat ride, a local lunch, and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
Today You will see the royal garden, a beautiful garden by taking a boat ride on Kunming Lake. Afterwards, you will take a rickshaw to explore the Old Hutongs, which is the city’s most culturally vibrant area. Later, you will take a high-speed train to Xian for around 4.5 hours.
