On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) the agents of Best Adventure Travels shall greet the explorers. On completion of every formalities, the group is then transferred to the best four-star hotel in Delhi via air conditioner private vehicle.
After an hour of refreshment, we shall continue to explore the inside city of Delhi. We shall primarily visit the traditional bazaar of Chandni chowk, the oldest market of Delhi selling a wide range of Indian products. In the evening, we shall enjoy the heavily laid Indian authentic cuisine.
We begin the Delhi tour package with sightseeing of Laxminarayan temple, and pass through the mightily established India Gate which is built on Paris Arc de Triomphe architecture. On our way we drove past the presidential house and the parliament house of India.
We continue our trip to Lotus and Skon temple. We also visit the captivating historical Red Fort, Qutub Minar (the highest brick minaret) and the Humayun tomb (the first garden tomb of India).
From Delhi we take the Yamuna Express Highway to reach Agra. On reaching we visit the Taj Mahal, the symbol of love built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jhan. The marvelous building stands in between the beautiful natural landscapes. We also visit the Agra Fort, a large protected point of the Mughal Empire. In the evening we stroll in the nearest Agra market and enjoy the popular delicacies of Agra.
From Agra we take early drive to Ranthambhore via Fatehpur Sikri. The Sikri is the oldest deserted city of Agra, situated in the west of Agra. The Red sandstone building cluster was founded by the 16th century Mughal Emperor. Nearby the entrance of Jama Masjid is the marble tomb of Salim Chishti. The place showcases the culture of Hindu and Mughal styles. From their we drive to Ranthambhore, Rajasthan.
Ranthambhore is situated in Northern India. The place is famous for the wildlife reserve. It was one of the former hunting grounds and is currently a home of leopards, tiger, and marsh crocodiles. The other interesting landmark are the Ganesh temple, Ranthambore temple and Padam Talao Lake. We shall take up the jungle safari inside the wildlife reserve and enjoy spending time with the nature. If lucky we may see the rarest animals such as leopards or tigers.
We drive to Jaipur which is just three hours drive from Ranthambhore. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and is also known as the Pink City. In the year 1876, the whole city was painted pink to welcome Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. On this day we explore the iconic palace ‘Hawa Mahal’ (Wind Palace) and walk through the vibrant bazaars of Jaipur where we shall encounter the local artisans’ handcrafts, and arts. In the evening we shall devour the splendid Rajasthani meal.
We begin the day by exploring the iconic heritages and palaces inside Jaipur. The Rajputs palace holds a distinct aura and is fully beautified in crystals and masterpiece sculptures. We begin the full day sightseeing in Jaipur with Amber Fort. We take a guided walk through the narrow lanes, Havelies and temples. We then move to City Palace, the 18th century Royal residence and continue observing the adjacent astronomical observatory of Jaipur, the Jantar Mantar. We again explored the bazaars in Jaipur and in the evening, we will return back to the hotel.
We drive from Jaipur to Udaipur, another beautiful city in Rajasthan, India. The city is replenished with palaces which are surrounded by lakes. As the drive duration is nearly 6-7 hours on reaching Udaipur, we take rest. While the travelers can explore the city on their own.
Today we have separated the entire day for Udaipur sightseeing. We visit the 16th century City Palace. The major attractions in Udaipur are Crystal gallery, Jagadish Temple, Palace Museum and Durbar Hall. We also take excursions to Jain Temple and the Eklingji Temple at Rankapur. We also visit the interesting decorated garden, Saheli Ki Bari.
Bidding Udaipur farewell, we drive to Jodhpur. The drive is interesting and gives a final glimpse of the beautiful city Udaipur. Once we reach Jodhpur we shall settle in the best hotels in Jodhpur. Travelers are given their own time to wander inside the Jodhpur city.
Today we shall roam around Jodhpur. We shall visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, a memorial built as an honor to Jaswant Singh. We visit the majestic palace of Umaid Bhawan and its museum outlet. Other interesting attractions in Jodhpur are Sardar Market, Clock tower and Jhanki Mahal.
In the late hours we drive to Jaisalmer which is 4 hours away from Jodhpur. On arrival in Jaisalmer we check in to the hotels and enjoy the splendid atmosphere of Jaisalmer. We stretch around the hotel area or do a bit of self-exploring.
We visit the Jaisalmer fort, which was built in the 12th century by the Rajput ruler. Thereafter we visit the Jain temple present inside the temple. The fort highlights the images of warriors and their bravery. Likewise, we visit Patwon Ki Haveli, the elaborate house of Jaisalmer.
After lunch we take a jeep ride to Jaisalmer desert and then proceed to Kuri for a brief camel ride. As we decide to take the camel safari in the evening, we see the beautiful sunset behind the sun dunes and return back to our hotel.
We take a drive to Bikaner which is 330kms away from Jaisalmer. The destination we take today adds more knowledge on the achievements of Indian Maharaja’s and for religious purposes.
Once we reach Bikaner, a few hours are separated for refreshment purposes. We get back to our sight-seeing trip and visit the Prachin Museum, Karni Mata Temple and the famous Lalbagh temple. The temple was built by British engineer Samual Jacob during the British rule.
The ride to Mandawa takes us to the Jhunjhun district of Rajasthan. The place is popularly known as the Open Art Gallery and is filled with magnificent Havelis, fortress and paved archways. The whole of Mandawa is built with stones, while in the form of décor hand paintings are abundantly found in the stone walls. In Mandawa we shall reside at Golden Haveli, one of the most beautiful hotels in Mandawa offering every luxury with a traditional blend. We also explore the Harlalika Well (the archeological museum) and take a glimpse of the historic monuments used in the wars. In the evening we shall see Golden Haveli lightening up like golden. The whole view is exceptional and gives a soothing experience.
We drive back to Delhi from Mandawa. The driving duration is nearly 5 hours and on reaching Delhi we take a short refreshment break in the hotel and get ready for the wonderful experience in Akshardham Temple. The temple has a set of rules and regulations that needs to be followed by every visitor. The visitors are prohibited from taking cell phones and cameras. The place is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the artistic buildings. The temple is made of wood, gold, silver and marble. Another interesting act is the famous Water Dance show. In the evening we return back to the hotel and enjoy our last dinner in India.
