Thai people greet others with the ‘wai’, their traditional greeting stance, which is similar to that of ‘Namaste’ with spoken words being ‘sawatdi khrap’ for male speakers, and ‘sawatdi kha’ for female speakers. The food culture in Thailand blends the five fundamental tastes: Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, and Spicy.
