Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP Nepal)
Kathmandu Environmental Education Project had been established with initiation of Ms. Joanne Chittenden, an English citizen, after her friend Tracy Tylor Young’s tragic decease in the Mera Peak on February 1991. She returned Nepal with her friend Johnnie Woods and started to work together with a few Nepalese friends in educating people on travel safety and environmental education. Since then, this non-profit organization has been continuing its admirable works in various sectors like environmental education, guide trainings, porter awareness programs, porter equipment services, community developments, drinking water projects in various places in Nepal, to name a few.
Best Adventure Travels have joined its hands to work together with this organization in various projects. Being a personal and official affiliation with this organization since past 23 years, founder of the Best Adventure Travels, Mr. Narayan Regmi has always been close with KEEP with warm relations among these two organizations.
